You are right, of course – poor demographics started in the mid-1980s but never recovered; birth rates are still very low.

More important than GDP is GDP per capita. If there are less people born, there are less people in the country. If there are less people in the country, GDP will tend to be smaller, but that does not necessarily mean that GDP per capita will also be affected and be smaller. We still have hope.

Kā tad, drīz cērtamu mežu nebūs. Jautājums ir par to, kurā brīdī būs kompensējošie maksājumi no Rietumiem, tas ir no Vācijas, viss pārējais ir naivas idejas, jo pat trešo valstu migrantiem te varētu nelikties tik ļoti interesanti kā tajā pašā Vācijā, kas arī strauji noveco.

Kad tas būs – -“drīz”? Precizējiet, lūdzu! Būtu labi arī kāds nopirtns avots, aprēķini utt., citādi tāda brēkāšana vien ir, kas nepiedien nopietnam cilvēkam.
