Inflation in Latvia in 2014

Slovenia adopted Euro in 01/01/2007. According to the link below, in 2006 the Slovenia’s inflation rate was hovering between 2 and 3 percent [=stable].
Slovakia adopted euro in 01/01/2009. Its inflation rate was steadily climbing for a year before adoption – 2008
Now if we look back at Slovenia in 2008, we can see its inflation rate claiming too.
If I connect the dots I can conclude that a currency name change does not affect inflation.

Why are we leaving out Slovakia, Slovenia and Greece? I would say 4 is better than 1.

All is nice. At lease seems to be.

I am not saying that it is really so just this kind of analysis still cannot rule out “increase” of prices – maybe without EUR adoption we would have a deflation now in Latvia instead of zero level inflation?
